The delegations from other countries participating in the project "Towards Active European Citizenship" are visiting Club 50+ from the 20th to 23th February.
The visit aims to show the life of Club 50+ in London to the partners.
Within this time slot the delegations will discuss current problems and resolve important questions. Besides, the clubs from different countries will share their achievements and success.The meeting in London is not the first one. The partnership meetings have already been held in Finland, Greece, Bulgaria, Latvia and now England.
The meeting with the members of the Club was held on February 23 in Costa Cafe.
The club members prepared welcoming programme with dances, songs, demonstration of club activities, reports and surprises. In the meeting participated guest from the newspaper "Komersant" Victor Balagadde that made a report about russian mewspapers in England.
50+ Club memebers has performed:
- Report of the photo club and theater club coordinator Viltaly Blinov
- David Kudykov, famous writer and poet has read several of his own poems
- Ludmila Steinberg, soviet union champion in canoe sport and theater club participant , has performed tap dance
- Zinaida Petruchenya has prepared hand made souvenirs for each delegation member
The meeting has finished with singing of Russian traditional songs. We would like to thank Zinaida Petruchena and Lidia Nikitina.
