All donations collected at the charity night “Afinskii Kalorit”, organized by the weekly newspaper “Afiskii Courrier,” The Union of Russian Immigrants in Greece and the agency XL-Group,  went to strengthening the position of the russian language and culture in Greece.

Guests gathered for the galla-concent on November 4th in the “Mesogios” hall of the Ledra Mariott hotel in Athens.
The program was full of musical acts and even the most demanding audience of classical music  was impressed. Afterwards, a fashion runway took place, showing new collection pieces of prominent Greek designers.

Anyone interested was welcome to take part in the charity lottery, the profits from which will be benefitting the conservation of russian language in Greece.The informal part of the evening included socializing and discussion of new projects that members of the participating groups were interested in, while feasting on the delicious celebratory buffet.
The event was funded by CLUB UNESCO OF DEPARTMENT OF PIRAEUS & ISLANDS and with the support of the cultural society for Russian compatriots “Beryozka”.
