May 18th-20th Athens saw the festival “Uzbekistan Days in Greece,” in the context of which films of contemporary Uzbek filmmakers were screened and the work of artist Yannis Kadras--a Greek who having grown up, gone to school and studied at the Art Academy in Tashkent, moved to Greece--was exhibited. Members of “Club 50+” enthusiastically participated in the festival. One of their favorite movies was “Lead” (by director Zulfikar Musakov).
